Family Kitchen
Thanks to all who helped last month. And a great big
welcome to the Amilings. They were such a great asset, and I do
believe they enjoyed helping with the meal. If you have not been
part of this ministry, talk to them and find out why they enjoyed
being there. Thanks again!
I have been asked why I report on the meal which was
served a month ago. Well... this newspapers deadline is on the
15th of the month and we usually don't serve until a few days after
that. So..I am always a month behind in reporting. Last month we
enjoyed serving a delightful tamale casserole and a salad, and a
banana pudding with an Oreo crumb crust for dessert. This months
menu will be hamburgers with all the trimmings and a four bean
salad. To top it off, the dessert will be our famous "jello-coolwhipstrawberry
parfait" served with cookies. Does that
not sound like a menu from a four star restaurant?
Come and participate, or if you cannot,
contribute in some other way. Food costs are
steadily increasing and it becomes costlier every
month to prepare a nutritious meal. Please help in
any way you can. And some of you are already
doing so. A great big thanks to you!
