Hope Chapter Fall Activities
The ladies of the Hope Chapter of the
Daughters of the King are planning
their fall activities. In lieu of our
August meeting, we met at Gino’s for
a social evening. Due to Labor Day
and several members being away, our
September meeting will be:
The Third Monday
September 15th, 2008 at 6 P.M.
in the parish hall.
Nominations for officers will be accepted in September with elections
scheduled for October. A fall retreat will be conducted by Esther
Miller on October 25th at Pilgrim Firs in Port Orchard. Details will be
announced soon. Also, classes for prospective new members will
begin in October. Ladies interested in joining our group may contact
Mary-Francis Jones for further information. (360-876-2103)
Installation of officers will take place in November.
Our final fall activity will be the Longest Night Service on December
21st which is offered to all persons who find the holidays difficult to
handle.
