Happy Thanksgiving 2024! On Sunday, November 24th, St. Bede's celebrated Thanksgiving with a Thanksgiving Meal. It featured all the fixings! What a great way to start the holiday week and enjoy good food and fellowship!

Family Kitchen Update!
Every Month the St. Bede's Family feeds people in our community a much needed hot meal. This is what Jesus would do! |
On Sunday, October 13th, St. Bede celebrated it's Annual Oktoberfest! We had beer, brats, potato salad, and more! Our special guest, Arthur Ferguson, came in his authentic German costume to add to the festivities!

On Saturday, September 14th, we saw the Ordination and Consecration of the Rev. Dr. Philip N. LaBelle, as Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia, in Bellevue, WA.- at the Meydenbauer Center. The event which was attended by Arthur Ferguson & Claire Fox, of St. Bede.

St. Bede's SPRING FLING 2024

St. Bede member, Don Little, served in the ceremonies and as part of the Transition Team.
A total of eight bishops served as Co-Consecrators including Episcopal Bishops from Massachusetts(2), Oregon, Maine & Washington along with two Lutheran Bishops.
The altar was full of wine and bread to provide communion to the many, many attending the event (approx. 1500-200).

Bishop Melissa Skelton who served during the Transition time also was a Co-Consecrator.
Prior to the completion of his ordination and consecration, Bishop Phil assumed a position of humility.

Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry was the Chief Consecrator.
After his two children and wife helped him to don the garb of a Bishop, the new Bishop lead the Eucharist.
St. Bede's joined in the Fathoms of Fun "Craft Fair" on June 24th and 25th this year with a booth among others from the community. Members enjoyed speaking to community members and distributing our St. Bede's pamphlets.
