WORSHIP AT ST. BEDE'S

At all our services, we celebrate the sacred mystery of God’s presence among us.  At all our services, we read the Bible.  At St Bede’s you will hear lessons from the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament each week. Our prayers are drawn from images and verses found in the Holy Bible.

We are happy to baptize new members, young and old(er) into the household of God.   We celebrate the ministries of God’s people in the world.

Here are some ways we Gather for Common Worship each week in 2021:

• On Sunday Our In-Person Church Services are at 10:00 am.
• On Sundays, we will continue to broadcast Our LIVE 10:00 am Services.  Our services are available live  at  www.facebook.com/stbedesportorchard with videos of our service posted soon afterwards.  
• Wednesdays We have Bible Study at 11:00 am, by Zoom, for a shared meditation on the next Sunday’s Bible Readings.  We offer our own responses and listen to those of one another.  We share our feelings about what may be happening around us and pray together - for each other and whatever and whomever is on our heart. The Readings are emailed out on Tuesdays. Contact Karen Bathgate at [email protected] if you wish to participate in this service.
• Sunday & Tuesday Evening We Have Compline (Evening Prayer) by Youtube at 7pm on Sunday and Tuesday evenings.  Compline services are also recorded and posted on  YouTube  www.youtube.com/channel/UCxk4nFQjNjsjMOtyvFogmHLw/featured and Facebook.  See Home page for more information.

We are offering Holy Communion service on Sundays. Sunday will begin with one 10:00 am service. Wednesday's service is at 11:00 am.  Children of all ages are welcome at all services. In time, we will return to offering a weekly Godly Play services for kids.
